Welcome to the Decatur Park District

With 2,000 acres of parks & playgrounds and an estimated 1.2 million visitors each year, the Decatur Park District boasts award-winning golf courses and cultural arts programming, an indoor sports center, an AZA-accredited zoo, and a premier outdoor soccer complex that is home to MidState Soccer Club.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Decatur Park District is to improve our community's quality of life and growth potential by protecting open space and providing outstanding parks and recreation facilities, services and programs that operate in a responsive, efficient manner.
