Perform! Music Man Jr. Ticket Sales

Time: 03:00 pm - General Event
Enjoy the American classic, The Music Man Jr., as the Decatur Park District's 1st - 12th grade performers bring to life "Seventy-six Trombones," and the "Wells Fargo Wagon," in this award-winning musical. Ticket sales begin March 1, 2010. Reserved seats are just $7.00 and may be purchased at the Decatur Park District Office, 620 E. Riverside Dr., by phone (422-5911), or at the door of the Decatur Civic Center theatre one hour before show times.

Adult Indoor Soccer Open Play Continues

Time: 09:00 pm - Soccer Event
This 7-week league begins on Monday, January 18. Games will be played between 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Monday. Teams will play two 24-minute halves with 5 players and a goalie on a full field.

Decatur Park District and Decatur Memorial Hospital present Redbird Rookies! This free summer baseball league is for boys and girls (aged 5 – 12) who have no prior experience playing ball. Sign up at the DISC (1295 W. Wood) from 5 – 7 p.m. or contact Sam Jordan at 429-3472 for more information.

This 7-week league will be played on Thursdays or Friday's starting on January 21. Games will be played between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Teams will play two 24-minute halves with 5 players and a goalie on a full field.

Decatur Youth Baseball & Softball Registration

Time: 05:00 pm - General Event
Baseball players between the ages of 5 and 18 and softball players in grades 1 - 12 may register for the Decatur Youth Baseball & Softball league at the Harris Elementary School (620 E. Garfield Ave.) from 5 - 8 p.m. Questions call Sam Jordan at 429-3472.

U9-U14 Indoor Soccer League Continues

Time: 08:00 am - Soccer Event
Get your friends together and participate in the U9-U14 Indoor Soccer League at the DISC! Players can take part in the 7-week soccer league on Saturday mornings beginning on January 23. Teams will play two 24-minute halves with 7 players and a goalie on a full field.

This 7-week Indoor Soccer League will start on the weekend of January 23. Games will be played on either Saturday or Sunday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Teams play two 24-minute halves with 5 players and a goalie on a full field.

Animal Crackers-African Animals

Time: 11:00 am - Zoo Event
Children aged 3-5 listen to a story, meet an animal, create a craft with their adult guests and snack on animal crackers! Offered throughout the year on Saturday mornings located at the Scovill Zoo Education Center. Cost is $8 for residents and $9 for non-residents. Seniors: Corned Beef & Cabbage Lunch

Get out your lucky green attire and enjoy some corned beef and cabbage at the Johns Hill Center to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! After lunch, try your luck at some games of BINGO for some great St. Patty's Day prizes. Cost is $8.00 with reservations due March 12, 2010.

Seniors - Lunch in an Amish Home

Time: 11:00 am - General Event
Come and enjoy a delicious lunch with plenty of good food at the home of Delores Graber. You are guaranteed to leave with a full stomach. After lunch we will stop at Beachy's Country Store. The van leaves at 11a.m. Cost is $20 per resident and $22 for non-residents. Reservations due March 23, 2010.
