Critter Encounters

1st & 2nd graders have the chance to see animals up-close by participating in fun, hands-on activities with a different story, animal, and zoo activity each session.

Age Group:	Youth: Ages 5-11 1st & 2nd Graders
When:	2010-06-05 - 2010-07-31 1 - 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays: 6/5, 6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 7/31
Where:	Scovill Zoo, 71 S. Country Club Road, Decatur, IL 62521
Registration:	Register online, by phone (421-7435), or in person at Scovill Zoo.
Fee:	Residents: $10.00; Non-residents: $12.00; Friends of the Zoo Members: $1.00 Discount

Other:	Minimum class size is 5 with a maximum of 15. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and to dress for the weather. Each session will involve interaction with animals and will include time outdoors. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Students may attend the sessions with or without an adult.
