Want to improve your distance running? Get going with Staley Striders Cross Country! Participants may choose to run locally and/or take part in national meets. Athletes wishing to compete in competitions must purchase a sanction card and pay race entry fees. Tee shirts provided.

Autumn Spectacular XC Meet
This annual meet is for boys and girls, aged 6 – 18, who enjoy cross-country running and want to compete against their peers. Awards for the top 6 finishers in each age group. Call 217-429-3472 for start times.

Santa Shuffle
Santa returns to the DISC! Kids will run on the indoor track, play games, and jump on the inflatables (ages 4 & up)! All participants will receive a medal, cookie, and photo with Santa. Please check in 10 minutes prior to your child’s start time. Distances vary per age group from 1/8 mile to 1 mile. Inflatables, scooters & basketball available until 6 p.m.
