The Decatur Park District strives to ensure that playground equipment, park grounds, and facilities remain in excellent condition. Please help us in this effort. Follow safety rules posted at park sites and note age designations for appropriate use of equipment. If you see or hear of vandalism to park property, find broken playground equipment, or discover anything else you consider hazardous, please call 217-422-5911.
Park Watch Program
In response to an ongoing problem with vandalism, the Park District developed “Park Watch” to help prevent crimes in our parks and on Park District property. This program offers rewards leading to the arrest of individuals responsible for these crimes. As you drive by parks, playgrounds and facilities, please be on the look-out. These areas belong to all in our community and are supported by tax dollars. If you have a tip to help us catch vandals, call Park Watch at 217-424-1311.
You may leave your contact information or you may remain anonymous. If your information leads to an arrest, you may receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Suspicious Activity Report Form
If you witness suspicious activity, please call Park Watch at 217-424-1311. You may also complete the Suspicious Activity Report Form and email to Park Police Erin St.Pierre at estpierre@decparks.com. Thank you for keeping your Park District parks and facilities safer.
