“Tennis is a game that brings communities together, allowing people of all ages to learn, improve, and enjoy the sport,” said Keri (Robison) Roth. “As a young girl growing up in Decatur, I spent endless hours each summer playing on the courts at Fairview. It was like a second home to me. I hope other young girls in our community come out to watch these world-class athletes, feel inspired by the same dream, and develop their own love for the game.”

The tournament is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Pro Circuit and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour. The event will feature 70 players from over 20 countries competing for a $30,000 prize purse and valuable WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) world ranking points. The Decatur Community Tennis Foundation will be the tournament organizer as well as overseeing sponsorship opportunities.
